My parents are trying to adopt my two cousins
Basically, they live by themselves in one of those shabby attic rooms in Korea. Two girls: one in high school, one in middle school. Both their parents are blind and separated, my aunt sleeps at the massage house where she works, and their dad is with another woman. Not able to make friends well because they live in a pretty well off area so that they can attend a good school, so if they reveal their situation and how they live, they’ll be made fun of and pushed around.
Crazy how when I compare myself with my peers at school, I feel so underprivileged, but when I think about my cousins, I feel like a spoiled princess.
I hope they come to America.
